Either colour or black and white images are acceptable, but computer manipulation of photos is not allowed.
Entries become the property of Killbear Provincial Park. Ontario Parks reserves the right to use any entries for marketing purposes in future programs, publications, or displays.

Image Size, Resolution, and Labeling Requirements:
Send images that are a minimum of 2.5MB to a maximum of 5MB.
Label each image “KillbearPC_yourfullname_year.jpg”. For example “KillbearPC_JohnSmith_2016.jpg”. Entries not labelled correctly will not be accepted.
You can give a short description, but it is not necessary.

Model and Photo Release Forms
All images need a Photo Release Form. In addition, images of people need to have a Model Release Form signed for everyone that can be recognized. Model Release and Photo Forms must be attached to email with images.

Photo and Model Release Form

Eligibility: Everyone is eligible to entry.

Deadline: December 31 of each year.

Entries for each year's photo contest will be accepted until December 31 of that year, so don’t limit yourself to photos of the summer season.

We would love more photos of people biking, hiking, sailing etc. We would also love photos of the different seasons.
Do not submit photos of illegal activities such as feeding chipmunks or disturbing habitat (making inukshuks or rock sculptures).
Please make sure images are in focus.

Enter the Photo Contest

Email your submission with the Photo Release Form (plus the Model Release Form if necessary) to killbearphotocontest@gmail.com. Only three (3) entries per person. Include in your email subject line the following: Your Name, City.

Please note: Entries without the Photo Release Form (and Model Release Forms if necessary) will be discarded.
