In the year 2000 a group of individuals, who shared a common interest in Killbear Provincial Park, came together with Park staff to form the Friends of Killbear Provincial Park. These people wanted to take actions that would preserve the natural ecosystems of the Park, while at the same time contribute to the camper’s experiences during their stays in the Park.
