The Friends of Killbear welcomes volunteers!

The Friends of Killbear has made significant contributions to the Park throughout the years. These achievements have been the result of the efforts of volunteers.

It is very true, that in our case significant changes in the Park have been made by a dedicated group of individuals.

Volunteers are the backbone of organizations like ours. As a volunteer based organization we are eager to hear from people who would like to help us out.

As a volunteer you can become involved as much or as little as you want. You may just want to come out and help us flip pancakes at our breakfast events or help out with the Family B.B.Q. for a day or become a member of the Board of Directors. The choice is up to you.

If you are a student in high school, we would be happy to write a letter of support crediting you with “Volunteer Hours” of work for any assistance you gave us.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer please come to the Nature Shoppe and talk to the staff there when you are in the park or contact us at our mailing address.
