The Nature Shoppe
The Nature Shoppe, located inside the Discovery Centre, is open most days from 10 to 3 until the park closes in early November, with some exceptions.
We will be closed on the following days:
Wednesdays for the rest of the year
October 8-11
October 15 - 18
October 20
November 1-2
The last day we plan to be open this year is Sunday November 5, 2023.
Our team of friendly volunteers looks forward to helping you choose the perfect souvenir! All proceeds stay at Killbear, and are dedicated to enriching the outdoor experiences of visitors and campers. Proceeds also support responsible stewardship of the natural eco-system in the Park.

Our online store, which we opened to allow campers and visitors to shop during the pandemic, is now closed.
FREE Internet Access for Visitors
The Friends of Killbear is pleased to provide free internet access at the Discovery Centre from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. local time. The network and password details are posted in the window by the main door.
NEW Carol’s Place Indoor Internet Area
Inside the main doors of the Discovery Centre, to your left, is a new, designated area to browse the web, take a zoom call, or just check email on a rainy day. This leaves the children’s activity area on the top level free for those it's intended for- kids! Just a reminder- internet outages at Killbear can happen anytime, so if you have an important meeting scheduled, you may want to arrange for your own connection, just in case. Carol’s Place will be open the same hours as the Discovery Centre.
